The mobile space is growing and you could be a part of it by becoming a mobile partner with Daisy.
According to research, 79% of British people own a smartphone with the average person spending 2 hours and 34 minutes using their device.
We’ve seen that first-hand. Since the end of FY’17, our mobile base has grown by an incredible 250% and we’re now managing upwards of 40,000 mobile connections.
With the need to work remotely increasing, our partners have seen a gap in the market and a subsequent increase in mobile demand from their customers. By partnering with us and selling our attractive propositions, they’ve also boosted their revenues.
Mobile is growing exponentially. Our Director of Partner Business, Julien Parven, gave his thoughts as to why the mobile space is increasing year-on-year.
Our growth is due to multiple key reasons including how we present mobile to the customer with flexible tariffing, flexible data and tenures.
Combine those with the fact that we, before any directive from Ofcom, already de-link the device from the airtime means that we have been able to be very competitive in our customer proposition.
Our mobile proposition is a strong one with a variety of tariffs to suit partners with customers of any size. Our whole partner model is unique as Julien explained:
Our size and our scale means we have strong vendor relationships and, because of those relationships, we gain exclusive access to opportunities and offers which aren’t available to the wider industry. We share those exclusive offers with our partners, giving them a competitive edge.
We also don’t place any shackles on partners. We believe that partners should trade with us because they want to, not because we force them to with the threat of code suspension or withholding of revenues.
We also manage every aspect of the back office. A Daisy partner simply sells and presents the customer. We provision, deliver, bill, collect and manage their service. Our trustpilot rating stands at 4.8 out of 5 and our CSAT and NPS scores are significantly higher than the industry standard which means that a partner presents a customer to Daisy secure in the knowledge that they will be looked after.
In March 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic forced the UK into lockdown, businesses were forced into adapting to a new normal.
Now, as the lockdown is beginning to lift, businesses are emerging to a new world and assessing what their future looks like.
Mobility and remote working look set to stay for those where it’s an option. Forward-thinking businesses will no doubt be looking to solutions such as mobile phones, mobile device management and hosted VoIP as they emerge stronger.
Businesses will adapt and adopt a new way of working, and we absolutely see mobile as one of the cornerstones of that.
There will be some channel consolidation, but also some new opportunities will emerge. We’re already seeing it with the thermal imaging sensor capabilities of CAT devices, and there’s no doubt that some of the healthcare applications in place elsewhere will be in development for mobile if they’re not already.
