Since announcing the withdrawal of roaming services in Iran last week, Vodafone has now secured a new roaming partner and so the network will continue to provide roaming services in this country.
This means that from 9 March 2024, Vodafone will continue offering roaming services in Iran and service in the country shouldn’t be disrupted.

Vodafone have taken the decision to terminate the relationship with its roaming partner in Iran, meaning roaming services in Iran will be withdrawn for customers on the Vodafone network.
From 11:59pm [GMT] on 8 March 2024, customers will no longer be able to use mobile data or make and receive calls/texts with Vodafone whilst in Iran.
Please note: This does not impact any other service or roaming destination currently provided by Vodafone.
Standard contract documentation for new customer contracts will be updated and will be effective from 9 March 2024.
